Ida Rentoul Outhwaite était une illustratrice australienne de livres pour enfants, dont le travail représentait principalement des créatures magiques telles que des elfes et des fées. Bien avant que les contes de fées modernes ne voient Anna et Elsa de Frozen couronnées icônes féministes inattendues, elle célébrait le pouvoir du féminin de manière subtile.
