Zdzisław Jasiński, was a Polish painter known for his works in the Academic style and later Impressionistic style. Jasiński’s work often captures the dynamic and dramatic elements of nature, and "Storm" is no exception. 

"Storm" features a vivid and evocative depiction of a summer thunderstorm.  It features dark thunderclouds that are metaphorically shaped like stampeding black horses, which dominate the sky above a flat green landscape. This imagery of horses is powerful, as it captures the energy, power, and unpredictability of a thunderstorm, paralleling the thundering sound of hooves with the rumbling of thunder.
