Ida Rentoul Outhwaite fue una ilustradora australiana de libros para niños, cuyo trabajo representaba principalmente criaturas mágicas como elfos y hadas. Mucho antes de que las versiones modernas de los cuentos de hadas vieran a Anna y Elsa de Frozen coronadas como íconos feministas inesperados, ella estaba celebrando el poder de lo femenino de maneras sutiles.
